UP: Woman killed, husband and son injured in fire incident

Rae Bareli (UP), July 10 (UNI) A woman was killed whereas her husband and son were injured their cot caught fire under mysterious circumstances in Mill Area of Rae Bareli district here in Uttar Pradesh, police sources said here on Wednesday.
Police sources said that the incident took place late on Tuesday night when Ram Awadh (35), his wife Priti (32) and son Deepanshu (10) were sleeping outside their house in Bandipur. "Around 2 am the cot on which the family was sleeping caught fire. While the couple suffered 80 percent burn injuries, the son sustained minor injuries," they said.
Police sources said that the couple was taken to the district hospital from where they were referred to AIIMS in a serious condition. "Priti died during treatment on Wednesday afternoon," they said.
