Ayodhya (UP), Apr 15 (UNI) To further strengthen the security of Ram Lalla seated in the grand and divine temple at Shri Ram Janmabhoomi, a four kilometre long and 16 feet high wall will now be built around the temple premises, a senior office-bearer of Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Trust said on Tuesday.
Chairman of the Temple Construction Committee, Nripendra Mishra, said that as grand and divine the temple is, its security should also be as strong. "Currently, only steel, wire and iron pillars are installed around the temple, due to which security is not sufficient, so now a concrete wall will be built all around, which will be as strong as a prison wall," he said.
He said that this construction will start from the northern gate and it will take about 18 months to complete it. "The wall will be about four kilometres long and will be equipped with state-of-the-art technology and sensors. Steel wire up to three feet will be installed on top of this wall, so that any kind of intrusion can be prevented. This decision has been taken in the meeting of Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Temple Construction Committee. The work of construction of the wall will be started within a fortnight," he said.
