Pakistani deputy PM attends conference in Jordan on Gaza conflict

Islamabad, June 11 (UNI) Pakistan's Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister, Ishaq Dar, is undertaking a two-day visit to Jordan to attend a high-level conference on the ongoing conflict in Gaza, the Pakistani Foreign Ministry said.
"Call for Action: Urgent Humanitarian Response for Gaza" has been jointly organised by King Abdullah II of Jordan, Egypt's President Abdel-Fattah al-Sisi, and United Nations Secretary-General Antonio Guterres, the ministry said in a statement on Monday.
"Pakistan's participation in the conference underscores its continued commitment to peace and stability in the Mideast region and its firm and longstanding support for the Palestinian issue," said the statement.
