Maha: NCP-SP MLA Awhad's car attacked by Swarajya activists

Mumbai, Aug 1 (UNI) Angry over his alleged provocative statement against Chhatrapati Sambhaji Raje, the supporters of Chhatrapati Sambhaji Raje on Thursday allegedly attacked on the vehicle of NCP (SP) MLA Jitendra Awhad.
The office-bearers of the Swarajya organisation has claimed responsibility for the attack.
Awhad had recently criticised Chhatrapati Sambhaji Raje after the riots at Vishalgad fort in Kolhapur, questioning whether the blood of Chhatrapati Shahu Maharaj is flowing in veins of Sambhajiranje, enraging the latter's supporters.
