Harris outpacing Trump by 2 points among likely voters - Poll

Washington, Oct 13 (UNI) US Vice President and Democratic presidential candidate Kamala Harris leads her Republican opponent, Donald Trump, by 2 percentage points among likely voters, an ABC News/Ipsos poll showed on Sunday.
The two candidates seem to be in a statistical tie, with Harris at 50% and Trump at 48%. The 2-point gap is also present among registered voters, 49% of whom support Harris and 47% Trump.
Trump maintains his lead on Harris on the economy, inflation and migration issues as well as on the Middle East crisis and national security, while Harris outperforms Trump on protecting democracy, looking out for the middle class and abortion.
The poll was conducted online in English and Spanish among 2,631 adult respondents from October 4-8. The margin of error is about 2 percentage points. The United States will hold local, state and federal elections on November 5.
