Cong questions integrity of EC, to launch movement for fair polls

New Delhi, Nov 29 (UNI) The Congress Working Committee (CWC) on Friday questioned the 'partisan functioning' of the Election Commission and alleged that the entire electoral process was being 'severely compromised'.
The party announced it will launch a national movement to uphold democratic values and electoral integrity.
Addressing a press conference after the meeting, Congress general secretary in-charge (Organisation) KC Venugopal, general secretary in charge communications Jairam Ramesh and Chairman of the Media and Publicity Department Pawan Khera said that the CWC expressed deep concern over the compromised integrity of the electoral process, and resolved to launch a national movement to uphold democratic values and electoral integrity.
