Jammu, Oct 13 (UNI) The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) on Sunday has appointed Union Minister Pralhad Joshi and senior leader Tarun Chugh as observers for the Legislative Party meet in Jammu and Kashmir.
With the National Conference set to form the next government in Jammu and Kashmir, union minister Pralhad Joshi and the party's national general secretary Tarun Chugh have been designated as observers for election of the leader of the party's legislative group in Jammu and Kashmir, said a BJP leader.
The National Conference party is set to form the government in J&K with Omar Abdullah to be the chief minister.
The NC-Congress alliance secured a total of 49 seats in the J&K Assembly polls as its ally, the Congress party, won six seats.
The BJP however, won 29 seats from the Jammu region.
