Bhubaneswar, Dec 6(UNI) The sleuths of the Vigilance Department on Friday unearthed 3 buildings, 4 flats,7 plots, Rs 14.5 lakh in cash, and 150 gms of gold so far during searches on properties linked to Rebati Raman Joshi, Assistant Conservator of Forest Hirakud Wild Life Division, Sambalpur.
Vigilance sources here said on the allegation of possession of disproportionate assets ( DA) to his known sources of income by Joshi, simultaneous house searches were being conducted by 3DSPs, 10 Inspectors, and other supporting staff of Vigilance at 9 locations of Joshi in Sambalpur and Bargarh.
During the search, the Vigilance officials unearthed three buildings including one triple-storeyed building in Sambalpur, four flats including one in Bhubaneswar and 3 in Sambalpur, seven plots, Rs 14.5 lakh in cash, 150 grams of gold jewellery and 300 grams of silver ornaments.
