Fatehpur (UP), Nov 13 (UNI) Three persons were killed and 10 others were injured when a bus carrying marriage party rammed into a stationary truck in Kalyanpur area of Fatehpur district here in Uttar Pradesh on Wednesday, a senior police officer said here.
Superintendent of Police (SP) Dhawal Jaiswal said that the incident took place when the bus carrying 50 passengers rammed into the stationary truck near Mauhar village. "The bus was going to Noida from Prayagraj at the time of the incident," he said.
He said that three passengers identified as Kumkum Singh (20), Kiran Devi (55) and Aditya Raj alias Tinku (5), all residents of Bihar, were killed in the incident. "10 people were injured in the incident of which Manorama, Pawan Mishra and Roshan Singh, having serious injuries have been referred to Kanpur for treatment," he said.
The SP said that the remaining injured were being treated at Kalyanpur primary health centre. "The truck and the bus have been impounded," he said.
