Tripura to host 73rd B N Mullik Memorial All India Police Football

Agartala, Feb 16 (UNI) Tripura is set to host the prestigious 73rd B N Mullik Memorial All India Police Football Championship from February 24 with 43 teams including 9 women groups participating in five grounds in different parts of the state up to March 7.
Sports and Youth Affairs Minister Tinku Roy said that the department has undertaken all preparations for the success of the tournament and to ensure a memorable stay in Tripura for visiting football teams. The teams of BSF, CRPF, RPF, and CISF along with different state police forces will participate in the events.
As many as 34 men football teams and 9 women teams of police will play matches at Umakanta mini stadium of Agartala, Tulabagan stadium of Mohanpur, Sachindra Colony ground, and Jampuijala football ground in Jirania and Chandrapur ground in Udaipur.
