Training given to master trainers to ensure quality of foundational education

Lucknow, Apr 26 (UNI) In a step to strengthen quality foundational education and achieve the Balvatika goals set under the NIPUN Bharat Mission, the Basic Education Department organised a six-day residential training program from April 21 to 26, at SIRD Lucknow for 50 master trainers from 13 districts, official sources said here.
Sources said that the primary objective of the training was to equip trainers with play and activity-based teaching methods, classroom management techniques and the principles of Early Childhood Care and Education (ECCE) aligned with the National Education Policy 2020, ensuring the holistic development of children at the Balvatika level.
Sources said that the initiative by the government is a crucial step toward giving a new direction to the education system in the state and establishing Uttar Pradesh as a model in the field of early childhood education.
