TN: Two electrocuted, another suffered electric shock while renovating bathroom

Tirunelveli (Tamil Nadu), Mar 18 (UNI) Two men, including a hockey player were electrocuted and another person suffered electric shock, when they came in contact with a live wire from electric meter during renovation works of a bathroom of a house at Kokkirakulam locality in Tirunelveli on Tuesday.
Police said the deceased were identified as G.Velayutham (30), a hockey player and Ravi (23). A construction worker Mariappan, who suffered electric shock, was admitted to Tirunelveli Government Medical College Hospital.
Velayutham’s father Gajendran was renovating the bathroom of his house.
