Telangana govt ready for debate on irrigation projects in state :CM

Hyderabad, Mar 16 (UNI) Telangana Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy said on Sunday that his government is ready for a debate on irrigation projects in the state.
Countering to BRS senior leader Harishna Rao’s challenge to debate the state’s finances, governance, and irrigation projects in the state, Reddy at a public meeting held as part of ‘ Praja Palana – Pragati Bata ‘ program at Shivunipally in Station Ghanpur Assembly Constituency ( Jangaon district), said that his government is ready for a debate on irrigation projects -- Sriram Sagar, Nagarjuna Sagar and Koil Sagar on Manjeera land.
These petty and small leaders ( Harish Rao and KTR) do not know anything, the CM said “Let Leader of the Opposition(LoP) and former Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao (KCR) come for debate”.
KCR attended only two sessions in the last 15 months, despite receiving Rs 57.84 lakh in salary, the CM pointed out and said that “ if KCR truly cared about Telangana’s future, he would attend the sessions and stand up for the people, not remain absent and obstruct progress from the farmhouse, said Revanth Reddy.
Former Minister and Senior BRS leader T Harish Rao had earlier challenged the CM to a debate on the state’s finances and governance. He charged the Congress government with misleading the public on debts and blaming the previous BRS regime for covering up its inability to fulfill electoral promises.
The CM said People gave a big mandate to Congress in 2023 and showed their power to BRS.
Why is he (KCR) being given opposition status when he (KCR) is not coming out, the CM questioned and said ‘ Why are the salary and allowances paid to KCR ?
KCR said ‘Capsicum crops will generate huge profits in crores, the CM said “Let KCR tell the technique to the farmers and also his skills in amassing Rs one lakh crores.
The state government is ready to send 1000 youth to KCR's farmhouse to learn the techniques, the CM said.
The new Telangana state was handed over to KCR as a surplus State but after 10 years, KCR made Telangana bankrupt, he alleged.
Making all our efforts to implement welfare schemes as promised despite all the difficulties, he claimed.
Disclosing a list of sins committed by KCR in the assembly, the CM said “Now, it is only an interval and the entire list will be revealed by the end of the assembly session (March 27).
KCR claimed he is the father of Telangana. For whom, KCR is the father of the nation. Will this father of Telangana wake up without a liquor smell, he questioned.
Konda Laxman Bapuji and Jayashankar are the fathers of Telangana, he said.
“ A person (KCR) who looted lakhs of crores cannot be the father of Telangana”, he added.
