Hyderabad, Dec 4 (UNI) Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy on Wednesday participated in a program organised by the Telangana Forest Department at the Kotla Vijayabhaskar Reddy (KVBR) Botanical Garden, Kothaguda, Kondapur, as part of the "Praja Palana-Praja Vijayotsavam “celebrations.
During the event, the CM laid the foundation stone and inaugurated several development initiatives aimed at enhancing ecological and tourism infrastructure in the state.
Key highlights of the event included the foundation stone for the Forest and Eco-Tourism Development Office and the launch of a Plant Introduction Field to promote biodiversity.
The Chief Minister also inaugurated the Kothagudem-Palvancha Divisional Manager Office Complex and the Sathupalli Divisional Manager Office Complex, aimed at strengthening forest administration in these regions.
Adding a technological edge, a virtual wildlife safari and an AR/VR building were also unveiled to boost eco-tourism and provide immersive experiences of Telangana's rich wildlife heritage.
Further, the CM flagged off new vehicles for the Telangana Forest Development Corporation to enhance operational efficiency in forest management.
The event saw the presence of key dignitaries, including Minister Konda Surekha, MLA Arikepudi Gandhi, Hyderabad Mayor Gadwala Vijayalakshmi, and Special Secretary to the Chief Minister Chandrasekhar Reddy.
