Target 100 pc saturation of beneficiaries in welfare schemes: Yogi

Lucknow, Mar 19 (UNI) Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on Wednesday directed the officials of the Social Welfare Department to ensure 100 percent saturation of beneficiary-oriented welfare schemes in the state.
While reviewing the progress of schemes run by the department, the CM said that under Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s guidance, the state government is implementing various public welfare programmes without any discrimination, following the principle of 'Antyodaya to Sarvodaya'. He directed the officials to widely promote government welfare schemes so that more needy people become aware and can benefit from them.
He stressed the need to link the Pradhan Mantri Anusuchit Jaati Abhyuday Yojna (PM AJAY) grant-in-aid scheme with MSME, SRLM and Mukhyamnatri Yuva Udyami Vikas Abhiyan to provide skill training to beneficiaries. "This will help them use the financial assistance effectively. Women beneficiaries should be given priority in the selection process," he said.
