Swedish PM postpones visit to SKorea: reports

Stockholm, Dec 4 (UNI) Swedish Prime Minister Ulf Kristersson has decided to postpone his visit to Seoul amid the martial law turmoil in South Korea, the Yonhap news agency reported on Wednesday, citing sources.
On Monday, the South Korean presidential office said that the Swedish prime minister would visit South Korea on an official visit from December 5-7. During the meeting, the parties planned to discuss bilateral cooperation and interaction in the international arena.
Visits by high-ranking South Korean diplomats have also been shortened or canceled, the report added. In particular, the visit of First Vice Foreign Minister Kim Hong-kyun to Spain and Germany was supposed to take place from December 1-5, but the diplomat will return home on Wednesday. Second Vice Foreign Minister Kang In-sun canceled her trip to the United Arab Emirates, where she was expected to discuss nuclear energy cooperation.
