New Delhi, May 24 (UNI) Suzlon Energy on Friday posted a 20.62% year-on-year decline in consolidated net profit at Rs 254 crore for January-March quarter (Q4) of the financial year 2023-24.
The company had logged a profit of Rs 320 crore in the Q4 of previous financial year 2022-23, as per a stock exchange filing.
During the March quarter of FY24, the company's total income from operations stood at Rs 2,207 crore as against Rs 1,700 crore in the corresponding period of the preceding fiscal thus registering a growth of 30%.
Suzlon Energy's consolidated net profit in the full financial year 2023-24 slumped to Rs 660 crore from Rs 2,887 crore in the previous financial year. The company's total income from operations in FY24 stood at Rs 6,567.51 crore as against Rs 5,990.16 crore in FY23.
"We stacked up our largest ever order book of value-driven orders for more than 3.3 GW (gigawatt). We also added several leading Indian conglomerates to our customer portfolio with long-term relationships and repeat orders. This aligns well with our commitment to powering the industries’ net-zero commitments with green energy. We rebuilt our organisational strength and expanded our leadership team, acquiring critical multi-industry talent,” said Girish Tanti, Vice Chairman, Suzlon Group.
