Mumbai, May 24 (UNI) President of Maharashtra Pradesh Congress Committee(MPCC) Nana Patole on Friday demanded that the government should not hesitate under the pretext of code of conduct and should immediately provide fodder to animals, drinking water and work to the the people in drought areas of state.
Speaking to mediaperson at Nagpur, Patole said, " The drought situation in the state is very serious, some villages do not get water for months, there is no fodder for animals, no drinking water. "
Chief Minister Eknath Shinde held a drought review meeting in Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar on Thursday, but 5 Guardian Ministers were absent from this meeting from which it is clear that the government is not serious about drought, he said.
