Seven from TN dies in Kuwait fire, Stalin announces solatium

Chennai, June 13 (UNI) Seven people from Tamil Nadu were among the 49 killed in the massive fire mishap at Kuwait on Wednesday and Chief Minister M K Stalin announced a solatium of Rs five lakh each to their families.
In a statement on Thursday night, Mr Stalin expressed shock and grief over the tragic death of seven people from the State in the mishap.
They were identified as Veerasamy Mariappan from Thoothukudi distrct, Ebanesan Raju (Trichy), Krishnamurthy Chinnadurai (Cuddalore), Govindan Sivashankar (Chennai), Punaf Richard Rai (Thanjavur), Karupannan Ramu (Ramanathapuram) and Mohd Sherif (Villuppuram).
