Ponting confirms Prabhsimran, Shashank as key retentions

Chandigarh, Oct 31 (UNI) The Punjab Kings have officially announced their player retentions for the upcoming IPL season, revealing that Prabhsimran Singh and Shashank Singh will continue with the team.
Both players have shown promise, with head coach Ricky Ponting highlighting their potential in the squad.
"Prabhsimran is someone we have invested in and have great hopes for," Ponting stated. "Shashank's skillsets are in high demand, and after his breakthrough performances, it was difficult to ignore him. We will target bringing back some of our other players at the auction."
