No people to be evicted in name of Waqf Board: Kerala CM

Kozhikode, Feb 15 (UNI) Kerala Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan said on Saturday that no one in the State would be evicted under the pretext of Waqf related matters.
Addressing the gathering after inaugurating the divisional office building of Waqf board here, he said that the State government had made it clear that no eviction will take place in Kerala.
He said as the Central Government Waqf Amendment Act denies the rights of the minorities, some people were creating an impression that minorities are stealing something.
