NIA raids premises of OGWs in Jammu region

Jammu, Mar 19 (UNI) The National Investigation Agency (NIA) on Wednesday raided and conducted the searches in the premises of the Over Ground Workers (OGWs) and sympathisers of terrorist outfits, who facilitated the infiltration from across the border in the Jammu region.
Official sources here said that the raids by the NIA team are underway at 12 locations across the Jammu region linked to OGWs, sympathisers of terror outfits and hybrid terrorists.
“The infiltrations were allegedly facilitated by OGWs by providing logistical support to the infiltrators,” they added.
The raids, they said, are being carried out on the directions of the Ministry of Home Affairs in a case registered by the NIA in October last year.
