Monks take out protest rally against Mamata for her remarks

Kolkata, May 24 (UNI) Thousands of monks on Friday took
out a protest rally in parts of north and central Kolkata to condemn the alleged remarks of West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerrjee, who accused the ISKCON, Ramakrishna Mission and Bharat Sevashram Sangha of working for the BJP at the behest of central leaders.
The barefooted monks wearing saffron clad braving the scorching sun took out the procession from the house of Maa (Mother Saradha Devi) at Bagbazar and walked through the streets to the ancestral house Swami Vivekananda, which is now the property of RKM where a museum was set up to display the articles used by the disciple of Ramakrishna.
