Manipur tribal villages getting government benefits

Imphal, June 24 (UNI) All district administrations of Manipur have intensified Dharti Aaba Janjatiya Gram Utkarsh Abhiyan (DAJGUA) campaigns to make government schemes reach tribal pockets.
Deputy Commissioner, Jiribam Krishna Kumar, today said that the weeklong campaign in Jiribam District has been conducted in the tribal villages of Chotobekra and Bhutangkhal from June 16 as part of the nationwide focused campaign, Dharti Aaba Abhiyan - Awareness and Benefit saturation camp from June 15 to 30 under Ministry of Tribal Affairs, Government of India to ensure awareness about different schemes/programmes and services of different Government Departments.
Krishna Kumar also highlighted that DAJGUA is a time bound mission to saturate services, ensure infrastructural development in tribal areas and to empower tribal communities for holistic and sustainable development.
