Maha to give opportunity to candidates in disputed border areas to appear for competitive exams: minister

Mumbai, Mar 17 (UNI) Revenue Minister Chandrasekhar Bawankule informed in the Maharashtra Legislative Council on Monday that considering the future of students living in areas along the border of Karnataka, the state government is providing an opportunity to youths of these areas to appear for the competitive examinations.
While replying to a question raised by member Niranjan Dawkhare in the upper house, he said that it is the duty of the government to give them all the training they need so that they get employment opportunities.
Bawankule said that Karnataka will set up a competitive examination centre, skill development centre for the aspirants of the border areas and said that the state government is with all these aspirants.
