Maha: Minister calls for creating fear of law amongst drug traffickers

Sangli, Feb 10 (UNI) Maharashtra and District Guardian Minister Chandrakant Patil on Monday directed the Anti-Narcotics force to create fear of law in those who cultivate, transport, sell and smuggle narcotic drugs without any mercy.
Presiding over a meeting the Narcotics Task Force at district collector's office here in the wake of seizure of huge quantities of MD drugs worth Rs 30 crore in Karve-MIDC near Vita town of this district on January 28, he stressed on the need of creating awareness among public, particularly children and youths, through a short film on ill-effects of drugs.
He also directed the task force to prepare a plan to prevent drug trafficking.
