Maha: Liquor worth Rs 24 lakh seized in Kolhapur, 4 held

Kolhapur, Oct 12 (UNI) The Local Crime Branch (LCB) on Saturday seized 500 boxes of Indian-made foreign liquor worth Rs 24 lakh from a truck and a car on Amba-Kolhapur road here and arrested four people in this connection.
Acting on a reliable information, an LCB team laid a trap on Amba-Kolhapur road and stopped a truck and a car on suspicion.
During search of vehicles, they found total 500 boxes containing Royal Blue Whisky made in Goa worth Rs 24 lakh and seized liquor, an official press release said.
