New Delhi, Jan 20 (UNI) Prime Minister Narendra Modi congratulated "dear friend" Donald Trump on his inauguration as the 47th President of the USA and said he looks forward to their working closely together once again for the benefit of their nations.
In a post on X, the PM also extended best wishes for a successful term ahead.
“Congratulations my dear friend President @realDonaldTrump on your historic inauguration as the 47th President of the United States!
“I look forward to working closely together once again, to benefit both our countries, and to shape a better future for the world. Best wishes for a successful term ahead!”
Donald Trump, the 45th President of the United States, took oath on Monday as the 47th President after making a historic comeback in the November elections.
