Kriti Sanon joins cast of 'Don 3'

Mumbai, Apr 23 (UNI) Bollywood actress Kriti Sanon is all ready to headline 'Don 3' as female lead opposite Ranveer Singh, joining the next installment of the iconic action-thriller franchise helmed by Farhan Akhtar.

The casting of the female lead had long been the subject of intense speculation, with names like Kiara Advani and Sharvari Wagh previously associated with the project. However, it is now confirmed that Kriti Sanon will play the female lead.

Though the shoot of Don 3 has yet to commence, Ranveer Singh is currently wrapping up his work on other upcoming projects, including 'Dhurandhar', which is said to be nearing its completion. The actor is said to be eager to shift gears to the action-thriller.

Director Farhan Akhtar has already completed the international recce, having locked visually striking European locales to serve as the backdrop for the film. The script is said to be completed and the production team aims to begin principal photography by October or November 2025.
