Killing of Baba Siddique exposes Maharashtra law and order collapse: Rahul

New Delhi, Oct 13 (UNI) Leader of Opposition in Lok Sabha Rahul Gandhi on Sunday said the killing of senior leader of Ajit Pawar’s NCP faction, Baba Siddique, was 'shocking and exposed the complete collapse of law and order in Maharashtra.'
The former Congress president on his social media handle X said, "The tragic demise of Baba Siddique ji is shocking and saddening. My thoughts are with his family in this difficult time."
He said, "This horrifying incident exposes the complete collapse of law and order in Maharashtra. The government must take responsibility, and justice must prevail."
The former Maharashtra minister was shot dead allegedly by three unidentified assailants near the office of his son, Zeeshan Siddique, in Bandra East on Saturday evening. The Mumbai Police detained two persons who were involved in the murder. UNI RBE SSP
