Jammu AIIMS gets Poison Information, Adverse Drug Reaction Monitoring centres

Jammu, June 13 (UNI) The All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) Jammu on Thursday got a Poison Information Centre and Adverse Drug Reaction Monitoring Centre to cater to the people of Jammu and Kashmir.
The centres were inaugurated by Prof (Dr) Y.K Gupta, President of AIIMS, Jammu in the august presence of Prof (Dr) Shakti Kumar Gupta, founder Executive Director and CEO of AIIMS Jammu, Deans, Associate Dean and senior officials at AIIMS, Vijaypur, Jammu.
As per the official communique, on the occasion, Prof. Y. K. Gupta stressed that the Poison Information Centre will play a crucial role in protecting public health by providing timely assistance, promoting poison awareness, and facilitating collaboration among stakeholders to prevent and mitigate the impact of poison-related incidents.
