Hyderabad traffic speed improves; Commissioner announces new initiatives

Hyderabad, June 20 (UNI) C V Anand, Director General and Commissioner of Police, Hyderabad, held a comprehensive review meeting on Friday to address traffic-related challenges in the city and to discuss viable solutions.

In his address, Commissioner Anand noted that until last year, the average vehicle speed in the city was around 17 to 18 kilometers per hour. At present, this has improved significantly to 24 to 25 kilometers per hour, a result made possible by the consistent efforts of the Hyderabad Traffic Police. He expressed his appreciation to the entire team for this achievement, a police statement said.
