Growing number of pre-wedding shoots at historic Shaniwarwada can cause harm: Agawane

Pune, Mar 27 (UNI) The growing number of pre-wedding photo shoots near the historic Narayan Darwaza of the Shaniwarwada here can cause harm to the public, amidst broken iron railings and embankments.
City-based social activist Anil Agawane said the number of tourists are increasing day by day to see the famous historical building . The iron railing present in the building on the side of the embankment (wall) near the Narayan Darwaza of Shaniwarwada is broken, so now the newly married couples are busy shooting pre-wedding photos directly near this Narayan Darwaza which can become a harmful for public.
He appealed to the Shaniwarwada authority to immediately install an embankment and iron railing on the side. It will also curb other unwanted things happening at the place. The government should take note of this and repair the iron railing and embankment wall for safety in the entire area outside Shaniwarwada, he said.
