Govt should immediately pay attention to provision of water & fodder: Vijay Wadettiwar

Mumbai, May 24 (UNI) Maharashtra state assembly opposition leader Vijay Wadettiwar criticized the state government on Thursday, demanding that the government pay attention to the people's issues, including implementing measures for tackling the drought situation.
He said that the situation in the state is unseasonal rain on one side and drought on the other.
He said that the entire state is suffering from drought. There is severe water scarcity, so both farmers and common people are suffering. Panchnama has not been done yet in places where there has been unseasonal rain. The state government should complete the panchnama and compensate the affected farmers immediately.
