DGP should do his job & leave politics to politicians: Omar on police chief’s controversial remark

Srinagar, July 17 (UNI) The row over the Jammu & Kashmir Director General of Police R R Swain remarks refuses to die down as former chief minister Omar Abdullah on Wednesday said the police chief should leave politics to politicians and should talk about the steps taken to control militancy.

On Monday during an event DGP told students of the Indian Institute of Management in Jammu that “things had come to such a pass that the so-called mainstream political parties had started cultivating leaders of terror networks and sometimes directly to further their electoral prospects.”
