Patna, Dec 7 (UNI) Outlining the importance of Chief Minister relief fund, the Chief Minister Nitish Kumar said that the fund is utilized to provide relief at the time of disaster.
Reviewing the activities of the fundz Kumar said here on Saturday that in addition to the disasters, the fund is utilised to extend financial help in various situations.
Secretary to the Chief Minister Anupam Kumar said that so far an amount of Rs 99 crore 43 lakh 91 thousand 35 has been released to the Disaster Management Department for construction of 100 flood shelters in 10 flood affected districts. He said that 77 flood shelters have been completed and the construction work of the remaining flood shelters was in progress.
