BJP slams Siddaramaiah over Muslim contract reservation denial

Bengaluru, Nov 12 (UNI) Karnataka BJP on Tuesday launched a scathing attack on Chief Minister Siddaramaiah, accusing him of "dishonesty" over the issue of reservations for Muslims in government contracts.
The row erupted after claims surfaced that Siddaramaiah had denied existence of any such proposal despite reports claiming otherwise.
Karnataka Leader of the Opposition (LoP) R Ashoka criticised Siddaramaiah for what he called "blatant dishonesty" in denying the existence of a proposal to reserve government contracts for Muslims. Ashoka questioned Siddaramaiah’s integrity, asking, “Do you have any sense of integrity or ethics?"
