ASF outbreak claims 961 pigs

Aizawl, May 23 (UNI) Resurgence of the African Swine Fever (ASF) outbreak has claimed at least 961 pigs while 1,315 pigs have been culled to date, state Animal Husbandry and Veterinary Department officials said.

The officials said while 45 pigs died in the state on Thursday 11 pigs were culled on the same day. Of the 45 dead pigs, 30 are from Tuirial village near Aizawl.
