4 women agriculture workers killed as tractor overturned

Guntur, (AP) Feb 9 (UNI) In a ghastly road accident, four woman agriculture workers were killed and eight others were injured when the tractor trailer on which they were going back to their village after farm work overturned at Bollavaram village in Muppalla mandal combined Guntur district on Sunday.

Police said that as many as 20 agriculture workers were going to their native village Chaganti Vari Palem after harvesting work at a chilli field on a tractor trailer. The tractor trailer overturned killing four of them. The accident took place when it was going on an irrigation canal bund which was very narrow. The injured were admitted to the GGH in Sattenapalli.
