3 drug peddlers booked under PIT-NDPS Act in Srinagar

Srinagar, Mar 26 (UNI) J&K Police on Wednesday booked three alleged drug peddlers in Srinagar under the Prevention of Illicit Traffic in Narcotics Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act (PIT-NDPS Act).

Police said the trio identified as Liyakat Ali Bhat of Kenihama Auqaf Chowk Nowgam, Ishfaq Ahamd Gabroo of Hamdaniya Colony Bemina and Umar Fayaz Bhat of Shalteng were booked under the PIT-NDPS Act after obtaining the formal detention orders from Divisional Commissioner, Kashmir on the basis of dossiers prepared by Srinagar police against them.

Training given to master trainers to ensure quality of foundational education
