Unnao (UP), Feb 25 (UNI) A man and his two minor children were killed, whereas his wife was injured, when a car collided with a tempo traveller in the Bangarmau area of Unnao district here in Uttar Pradesh on Tuesday, a police officer said here.
Circle Officer (CO) Arvind Kumar said that at around 5:30 am, information was received that the car going from Agra to Lucknow crossed the divider and collided with the tempo traveller coming from Lucknow.
"The collision was so severe that the tempo traveller also went out of control and overturned," he said.
He said that the car driver Raghvendra Singh, his son Shrestha (5) and daughter, a one-and-a-half-year-old baby, were killed in the incident, while his wife Nandini (35) was seriously injured.
"She was sent to the district hospital, from where the family took her to a private hospital in Kanpur. Raghvendra was posted as a Diwan in the Secretariat," he said.
The CO said that the devotees travelling in the Tempo Traveller, who were returning after visiting Ayodhya, sustained minor injuries in the incident.
