Manipur CM launches cleanliness campaign

Imphal, Sep 17 (UNI Manipur Chief Minister N. Biren Singh launched Swachhata Hi Seva, 2024,campaign at the state Secretariat here on Tuesday.
Singh stated that the idea of this campaign came from the people's willingness to live a dignified life within a clean and strong India as well as Manipur. He hoped that by organising the Swachh Bharat Campaign every year with new hope and ambition for the people, our Country, and the State would become strong and developed.
Elaborating on the Swachhata Hi Seva, 2024, the Chief Minister spoke on its five categories including Cleanliness Target Units also known as Black Spot, Public Participation, Awareness and Advocacy (Swachhata Mein Jan Bhagidari), Preventive Health Checkups and Social Security Coverage (Safai Mitras Suraksha Shivirs), Mass Scale Cleanliness Drive- Voluntary contribution (Shramdhaan) and Swachh Bharat Diwas 2024.
